Our mission at Colorisse is to help you make your creativity visible! Our goal is to be your go-to choice for DTF supplies. We want to be more than another brand online - we want to be a true partner as you grow your small business and turn your dreams into reality!
We truly mean that.
We know how stressful and challenging running a business can be with the day-to-day tasks that need to be done while also being working parents. While our team has a diverse professional background, we're all working moms. We understand the challenges of building a business as we talk to customers while sitting in the bleachers at a kids' ballgame or competition.
Our Story
Our co-founders, Ming and Andrea, met at an event and they immediately bonded over being sports moms. Ming's kids were much younger, and Andrea was ready to hang up her long-range camera lens since her boys all finished their high school and collegiate sports involvement. Both Andrea and Ming spent a decent amount to get custom apparel made for their kids' sports and extra-curricular activities.
As Ming and Andrea continued to chat, Andrea shared information about her sports apparel POD brand and the risks (and limitations) of that business model. Ming admitted that she's craft-challenged and would have her local mom-friend make custom items when needed.
As the conversations continued, Andrea and Ming knew they needed someone else to work with that was a crafter, loved creating community and had a solid understanding of the makers printing space. Andrea knew just the gal...
Jennifer is our resident DTF expert here at Colorisse! Jen is all things crafty and started making shirts when the Silhouette machine released. She DIY'd a screen print using vinyl and a sheer curtain (ask her about the shirt she made for her dad using this method that he STILL wears to this day).
Jennifer balances her career as a jill-of-all-trades entrepreneur and best-selling cookbook author and loves crafting (and hunting arrowheads) whenever she can! She’s also worked with the POD model, and is experienced with other forms of crafting using sublimation, HTV, DTG and...DTF.
Fast forward a few months where we were dreaming up the ideal DTF brand…

- Ming, not crafty and needs someone quickly to make high-quality custom items for her boys.

- Jennifer, super duper crafty but as a one-woman-show the creation process with HTV and sublimation was time consuming and limiting, making the ability to grow a business nearly impossible.
